Marsden Cove Marina can be found just inside the entrance of the picturesque Whangarei Harbour.
The Marina’s extensive facilities include a world class 236 berth Marina, complete with customs services, fuel dock, a range of waterfront retail facilities and Northland’s most popular public boat ramp. The unique marine based development is ideal for water and boating activities as it has complete tidal access to and from the marina.
Marsden Cove Marina is a full service marina with approximately 236 berths ranging from 10.5 metres through to 44 metres. We can also take up to a 25 metre Catamaran within our designated Catamaran Pier.

Facilities Include:
- Showers, Toilet & Laundry Block – Located under the Marina Office
- Power – 16 amp and/or 32 amp available single phase (3 phase on request), you must have a current NZ Electrical Warrant of Fitness
- Water – Available at all berths
- Pump Out Facilities – Holding tanks must be used
- Fuel Dock – Diesel & Petrol (91 Octane)
- Rubbish, Recycling, Oil Disposal & Trolleys – Located in the Marina Carpark
- Wi-Fi
- Adjacent Retail/Commercial Complex
- Safe Carpark (camera operating)
- Factory built boat stands and cradles (certified weight-rated)
- Fully sealed heavy duty hardstand with power and water
- 12m wide boat haul-out ramp within marina’s sheltered waters
- New Roodberg HBC80-VEL hydraulic slipway trailer capable of accommodating vessels:
— Up to 35m in length
— Up to 80 tonnes
— Multihulls up to 12m beam
- 340-hp trailer haul-out unit
- Hard-stand facility constructed with heavy-duty surface and secure fencing
