Hi I’m Pete Rowlands, and with my wife, Helen, we are the proud owners of Mollymawk, a Jeanneau Sun Odessey 52, which we are currently starting to prepare for our trip to the Islands in May next year as part of the Pacific Rally 2026.

Whilst I have an ocean yacht master theory qualification, the reality is that I’m probably at Day Skipper level and really keen to get an ocean crossing under my belt prior to our trip next year.  I would love to crew with a team returning to NZ or Australia after your time in the islands.

I’m a fun loving non-smoker, who’s not afraid to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in, happy to cook, have some general mechanical principal knowledge, current VHF licence, advanced sea survival and first aid trained and happy navigating and undertaking any general duties or watch needed.

Lucky to have an understanding boss, so pretty flexible on dates of availability. Would love to hear from you and more than happy to chat to ensure I’m the right fit.
