I'm Bruce Maunsell, a professional skipper, project manager, and long-distance solo sailor.
After decades in project management and three years solo sailing around the Pacific, I now help boat owners prepare themselves and their yachts for safe and rewarding offshore voyages.
I've managed and sailed numerous New Zealand and foreign flagged vessels, overseen complex refits, and supported skippers and crews as they get ready for ocean crossings.
I have also had a successful career establishing and operating businesses, providing strategic and operational advice to other businesses and managing the development of a number of large projects.
Today my work combines practical seamanship, technical systems knowledge, clear communication, and calm, experienced guidance.
