I am a capable, dependable 30 year old Alaskan woman looking to join a small private yacht for an offshore passage, ideally NZ to Fiji or South Pacific islands. Also keen for any day sailing or smaller trips to build a working relationship before voyaging further afield! Currently based in Bay of Islands and willing to travel. I am newer to sailing but am very passionate and eager to continue learning and improving my skill set. 

I am comfortable at sea and able to stand a regular watch day or night. I understand that on a small yacht everyone pulls their weight- whether that’s trimming sails, cooking, cleaning, or troubleshooting something at 2 am. 

I’m physically fit, don’t get seasick, and am organized and easy to live with in tight quarters. I’m keen to build offshore miles, learn from experienced sailors, and contribute properly to the boat and crew.
